How can I find out where I am?

The consistent signposting throughout Tyrol points you in the right direction - no matter whether you are riding the awesome trails by the Reschensee lake or mountain biking trails in the Kitzbühel Alps - once you’re familiar with the signposting you will find your way around in Tyrol’s mountains!

Signposting

On the official MTB trails (wide forest roads and farm trails) and single trails (narrower paths and trails) the following signs show you the right way and help tell you where you are. The signposting is part of an integrated guidance system which will in future also include direction finding via new media and navigation by smartphone. QR codes on the signs at the trails’ starting points can be scanned by smartphone and are the interface for getting information about the trail as you ride.
